Basic Gameplay
The game is a first person shooter where the player can use either a plasmid or a physical weapon. As seen above the player is using a gun at the moment. The gun has multiple options for ammunition that is very useful when fighting different opponents and is especially good if you select the right one for the job. The image to the left is an example of using a plasmid. In the top left there is the health bar with the number of health packs and under it is the EVE, which is basically a mana that is needed to use plasmids (blue bar in the top left of the image). The use of these powers will help you defeat characters and move through the game faster and more successfully. The controls are not complex and are as simple as move with the left joy stick and look and aim with the right joy stick assuming your playing on a game console. * Note: yes there are more controls to do cool things.* The game is vey interactive with what you uses as your weapon will usually have a response on the environment, i.e. if you shoot the lightning at water that splicers are in, they will all be electrocuted. The game has many hidden little areas that are fun to find, when you see ice be sure to use the incinerate plasmid.* if you are a cheater be sure to go to the BioShock Wiki.* To get the full experience from this game I would recommend playing the game multiple times and explore the maps as much as possible. Last thing to be look for when playing the game is to listen to all of the splicers, most of the splicers say pretty funny things, or just plain weird things, if you have a chance to sneak up and listen to one its usually worth while listening and they give the game a great insight to life in Rapture and make the game a much better story.
